A heartwarming little blessing.

I posted just recently that I had finally taught myself how to knit. Well, I also shared this news on Facebook. (Most of my family members have FB, and that's how we keep up with each other.) That same evening a little lady emailed me and told me that she had just cleaned out all of her craft cabinets and had a stack of very easy knitting patters that she would be willing to mail to me. Isn't that the sweetest thing? God provides in such subtle little ways. :)

  2. Hello! :) I have done Nanowrimo before, and wrote a novel set during the Civil War. This year I'm writing one set in 1915 Manhattan. It's about a young lady that is sheltered in a very prejudiced home, who is given the chance to go and stay with her free-spirited cousin. While she's with her she goes around "peasants" and learns to have compassion on everyone, regardless of their social class. Lots of complexities involved, but kind of hard to explain in a paragraph. :p

    What about you? :))

  3. Mine is about a fifteen year old girl in Connecticut in 1740-1741 (probably). She is a very fearful sort of girl, and when she hears Jonathan Edwards'
sermon (Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God), she's going to get saved. The story might be progressing a little too quickly at this point (even though it's only the second day!), so I might have to go back and rewrite some of it. We'll see how it goes.

Is it okay if I add you as my friend on NaNoWriMo?
